Basic English Speaking Course Objective:
The objective of the course is to improve Basic English speaking skills.
Course USP:
The course makes use of a holistic approach to improve a student’s communication skills. It teaches the candidate English Grammar, Pronunciation as well as Writing Skills. The course comprises scenarios which will help the learner to apply what has been learnt. The course also introduces the basics of phonetics to improve learner’s pronunciation skills. Being online, it offers the flexibility of self paced learning. A learner can appear for this programme at any time and from any place of his convenience. Additional tutor support is provided via live virtual classroom (scheduled or archived), discussion board, voice & accent assignments and checking.
Pre-requisites:
Basic computer operating knowledge, Internet and typing skills. The learner should have had English as a second language at the level of minimum 8th standard. The course will also be helpful to students who have successfully cleared our course “English for Aam Aadmi”.
Target Market:
Anyone who would like to improve English Communication skills.
Course Outcome:
A test will be given at the beginning of the course. The result of this test will be stored in our system. Upon completion of the course, the same test is given to the learner once again. A minimum of 25% improvement can be expected in comparison to the first score, if the learner has studied with diligence and has completed all the given exercises and tests. On successful completion of the course, a ‘Digital Certificate’ will be awarded. However, a physical certificate is also available at an extra cost of Rs 250/-.
